● Buying Antique Furniture: ●
We purchase our antique furniture, regularly throughout the year in France and the UK.
When the container arrives from Europe, we host a flea market next to our shop.
● Production of original antiques: ●
In our shop we make furniture collaborating with Fuchu Furniture from Hiroshima.
We reproduce furniture based on the designs of French, British and Japanese antique furniture in a faithful manner.
The furniture is refurbished with the help of a Japanese craftsman to restore the designs to their previous quality.
Our aim is for the furniture to last for life while showing the quality of our Japanese craftsmanship.
● Suggestions on how to use an antique door for the first time: ●
"From the antique door"
The antique doors which come from France and the UK are originals and there is an increase in their demand.
There are 150 doors that each have their own history and many of them are on display in our shop.
Our customers can also see photographs of doors which aren't displayed on the shop floor.
There are however a few things customers should know before handling these doors because the European climate is different to Japan's.
We will also take care of customers by explaining to them the advantages of having an antique door. Our business partner will then come attach the door for you.
We hope that our antiques can be used for another 100 years and can be enjoyed by future generations.
● Japanese antique to France ●
New business in France:
We plan to create a new business in France to spread Japanese Antiques.
During our trips to France, we learnt of the historical ties between French and Japanese Culture.
We would like to bridge the two cultures together by bringing some Japanese antiques over to France.
The first step will be selling Kimono and Obis.
